Coach Daphne
Coach Daphne Kimes brings years of coaching experience and a warm, nurturing approach to every program she leads. A devoted mother and longtime healthcare professional, Daphne spent 8 years working at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh and in Northern Virginia, where she supported children and families with care and compassion. Her ability to connect with young athletes, combined with her steady leadership and positive energy, makes her an incredible asset to the team and a favorite among kids and parents alike.
Coach Jake
Jacob Fritz is a physical education teacher at Montour School District with a strong background in youth sports and recreation. Originally from Franklin, PA, Jacob spent over five years working at the local YMCA Summer Camps, where he developed a passion for teaching and coaching. He earned his degree in Physical Education from Slippery Rock University and brings high energy, enthusiasm, and a student-first mindset to everything he does.
Coach Luke
Coach Luke Finney is a dedicated educator and experienced coach who brings energy, leadership, and a love for sports to every program. A former lacrosse player at Seneca Valley and graduate of Kent State University, Luke now works as a teacher, using his background to inspire and connect with young athletes. His calm, supportive approach and focus on teamwork make him a strong role model both on and off the field.
Coach Amanda
Amanda is a dedicated educator at Seneca Valley School District with extensive K–12 teaching experience and a passion for youth development. A former standout Division I basketball player at Duquesne University, Amanda earned accolades for her leadership, athletic excellence, and academic achievement. She holds a psychology degree and brings the same energy and discipline from the court into the classroom. Amanda is also a proud graduate of Pine-Richland High School, where she was named Pennsylvania's 6A Player of the Year.
Coach Peter
Coach Peter Forrest is originally from New Jersey and brings a strong background in both education and athletics to Jump Start Sports. A graduate of Duquesne University, Peter currently teaches 7th grade English at Woodland Hills, where he’s known for his creative approach and ability to connect with students. At camp, Peter combines his classroom experience with his passion for youth development to create a fun, structured, and inclusive environment.
Coach Jed
Coach Jed Whisler brings over 10 years of coaching experience and a deep passion for youth sports to every program he leads. As a dedicated husband and father, Jed understands the importance of building confidence, character, and teamwork in young athletes. His calm, encouraging presence and commitment to creating a positive environment make him a favorite among players and parents alike.
Coach TJ
Coach TJ Taylor is a standout leader who brings his passion for the game and strong local roots to the field. A former Peters Township High School baseball player and current student-athlete at Washington & Jefferson College, TJ combines firsthand experience with a positive, energetic coaching style that connects with young athletes. His dedication, leadership, and love for the sport make him a great role model both on and off the field.
Coach Justin
Coach Justin May has over 10 years of coaching experience and brings a unique blend of patience, energy, and positivity to every session. As a dedicated daycare teacher, Justin has a natural ability to connect with young children, helping them learn and grow through sports in a fun and supportive environment. His calm leadership and passion for youth development make him a trusted and respected coach among families.
Coach Vito
Coach Vito Campolo brings his love for basketball and dedication to coaching to every practice and game. A former standout player at Gateway High School, Vito has continued his athletic journey playing college basketball at Chatham University. His experience on the court gives him real insight into the game, and his enthusiastic yet calm coaching style fosters growth, confidence, and teamwork in his athletes.
Coach Wayne
Coach Wayne Fuller is a passionate and caring leader who has dedicated his career to making a difference in the lives of young people. A graduate of Clarion University, he brings a background in social work through his time with AmeriCorps, along with a deep commitment to youth development. Known as a favorite among the kids, Coach Wayne creates a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to grow both on and off the field.
Coach Cayson
Coach Cayson Prince may only be 5 years old, but he brings unmatched enthusiasm, energy, and imagination to the field! With "tons of experience" in snacks, high-fives, and running in circles, Cayson keeps the team smiling and moving. Whether he’s leading warm-ups or handing out pretend trophies, Coach Cayson proves that fun and positivity are what youth sports are all about.
Coach Ty
Tyal Prince is a dedicated basketball coach and educator with a lifelong passion for the game. A former team captain on Lincoln Park’s WPIAL championship team, Tyal went on to play college basketball at Capital University before graduating from the University of Pittsburgh. He currently serves as the middle school basketball coach at North Allegheny, where he focuses on player development, leadership, and fostering a winning team culture.
Coach Will
Will Sokira played college baseball at Chatham University and is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Psychology. A Bethel Park native and standout high school player, Will brings great energy, experience, and a passion for working with young athletes!
Coach Alaina
Alaina Kalin is a former Division I soccer player at Indiana University and a Pine-Richland alum. She played for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and brings years of experience, energy, and leadership to our camps.
Coach Zeke
Coach Zeke Marshall brings elite basketball experience and a passion for mentoring young athletes to Jump Start Sports. A McKeesport native and former Division I standout at the University of Akron, Zeke made his mark as a dominant shot-blocker and team leader before going on to play professionally overseas. His calm, supportive coaching style and deep knowledge of the game make him an incredible role model for kids learning the fundamentals and having fun on the court.
Coach Leon
Coach Leon is a dedicated community leader with over 15 years of experience supporting youth through case management, foster care, sports, and local organizations. Raised with strong family values, he believes in the power of mentorship and social responsibility. Leon is the Pastor of Morning Star Baptist Church in West Mifflin and the CEO of The Harrison Financial Group and The 9ine Media Group. He and his wife Shanita have three children: Todd, Leon Jr., and Ava.
